About Us

The Fallbrook Art Association is dedicated to supporting art in our community by sponsoring demonstrations, workshops, festivals, exhibits, plein air painting opportunities, scholarships and two highly acclaimed shows in Fallbrook.
Meetings are held on Monday evenings. December is when we enjoy our holiday get together.   The Monday evening meeting/demonstration begins at 7 p.m., There is an Eat and Critique session which begins an hour and a half before each General meeting/demonstration where members are encouraged to bring their work to be critiqued by the guest artist and Enjoy their sack dinner with the artist and other FAA members.   The public is invited to join with our artists at these meetings.

FAA sponsors monthly workshops are usually taught by the featured artist demonstrating that months meeting.  For more information contact our Workshop chairman.

We have two art shows every year:  an Open Juried Show in the fall and a Membership Show in spring.  Fallbrook’s newest festivals:  “Art of the Flower” in the spring and “Art of the Book” in the fall feature our member’s talents in a festive outdoor atmosphere.

The Fallbrook library features art by our members and the highly successful Art Assist program sends volunteer members into local elementary schools to teach art to students who do not receive art classes. 

  The student’s work is then featured in our Spring Membership Show and at the Fallbrook Library.  We are very proud of our scholarship program that awards scholarships to local students to assist in furthering their artistic education.

Our members enjoy the use of our free lending library which is stocked with art videos, books and magazines and is open during each meeting.
